A kegel exerciser is a tool for pelvic floor training, and this one adds vibration to it: nine functions, used on its own or from the CalExotics app, with a remote as well. Body-safe silicone, fully waterproof, rechargeable over USB, and it has a travel lock, which is there so it does not switch on in a bag.
The vibration is the extra, and whether it adds anything to training is not something our record says, so we will not. Some people will want it and some will want the weights and nothing else. It also costs more than the Squeeze Kegel Training Set, and more again than the Delice Cheri trainer. If you are not sure pelvic floor training is right for you, ask your provider before you start.
Using it
- Charge it before the first use, and lock it before it goes in a bag.
- Try it on its own before you bring in the app or the remote, and try the functions one at a time. Nine is a lot to get through in a sitting.
- A little water-based lubricant first.
- Short sessions to begin with. Stop if anything hurts or does not feel right.
Looking after it
- Fully waterproof, so warm water and a mild soap under the tap, then dry it.
- Store it locked, so it cannot switch on in a drawer, and keep the remote with it.
- Keep to water-based lubricant. Silicone lubricant breaks down a silicone surface.
