Luxus is two parts sold as one set. LuxHer is a non-insertable clitoral vibrator. It stays in place with the two adhesive stickers that come with it, you can hold it with the included finger grip, or you can wear it with a harness, which is sold separately. LuxHim is a silicone ring worn at the base of the penis, and it does not vibrate and has no battery. As the two of you move, LuxHer's vibration responds to how close LuxHim is, and LuxHer can also be controlled from its button or from the FeelConnect app. The maker lists LuxHer as ABS plastic and body-safe silicone, LuxHim as body-safe silicone, and both as waterproof to IPX7.

It suits a couple who want to try something together, one wearing each part, and who do not mind some setup. It is a lot to spend on something you cannot try first, and you are paying for two parts even if only one of you wants it. The maker lists the ring's fit as 28 mm to 45 mm without saying what that measures. Only LuxHer charges, on a magnetic cable, so LuxHim has nothing to charge and LuxHer is the part to keep charged. The maker says the stickers are not for skin with body hair, and the finger grip is the one option that is not hands-free. The FeelConnect app is the maker's, and we do not describe what it does beyond controlling LuxHer. We do not promise a result from the pair.

Using it

  • Charge LuxHer on its magnetic cable before the first use. LuxHim has nothing to charge.
  • Try LuxHer by itself first, with its button, so you know the controls before the ring comes into it.
  • Decide how LuxHer will stay in place before you start: the stickers, the finger grip, or a harness.
  • A little water-based lubricant on the ring helps it go on and come off without pulling. Take it off if it hurts or goes numb.

Looking after it

  • Warm water and a mild soap after each use. The maker lists both parts as waterproof (IPX7), so they can go under the tap, and LuxHer should be dry before it goes on its cable.
  • Keep to water-based lubricant. Silicone lubricant breaks down a silicone surface, and the maker's manual rules out massage oil and hand cream too.
  • LuxHim holds a magnet. The maker warns that it can interfere with a pacemaker if held too close, so ask a physician first. It also advises testing compatibility with a genital piercing before use.
