Two materials, one body. One end is a smooth silicone head on a semi-flexible neck, so it bends to the angle you want. The other is iridescent borosilicate glass, which a small LED lights when the vibration is on. Both ends vibrate across three speeds and seven patterns, and it charges over USB with the cable that comes with it.
Splashproof is not waterproof, so it stays out of the bath and the sink. It suits someone who likes the idea of glass and wants vibration with it. It is also two things to look after: a glass end that can chip if it is dropped on a hard floor, and a charging port that has to stay dry. If you want one material and no hard parts, this is not it.
Using it
- Charge it before the first use, with the USB cable that comes with it.
- Water-based lubricant on whichever end you use.
- Try the speeds and patterns one at a time, starting low.
- Check the glass for chips before each use, and go slowly.
Looking after it
- Splashproof, so wipe both ends with a damp cloth and a mild soap, then dry them, and keep the charging port dry. Do not submerge it.
- Keep to water-based lubricant. Silicone lubricant breaks down a silicone surface, and the head is silicone.
- Store it on its own, charged, so the glass does not knock against anything hard.
- Glass can crack in a sudden temperature change, so no microwave, no freezer and no boiling water. If the glass end chips, cracks or gets a rough edge, stop using it.
